RACE 1 (MRA 0368) SPECIAL CLASS 5 (B) – 1200M
SUPER WHIRLWIND, a course scratching as it had sustained a cut on the forehead, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
LUCKY THIRTYNINE (KC Wong) was slow into stride.
Passing the 250M-mark, UNDER OATH (S Zulfikri) shifted in away from the whip, carrying MAVERICK (SU Lim) inwards onto FORGET ROMANCE (App Clyde Leck) and GEORGETOWN (S Saddam). Jockey S Zulfikri was shown the video of the incident and was warned to keep his mount on a straight course, failing which action will be taken in future.
Post-race veterinary examinations of QIJI STAR (App SN Shiva) and BLACK PRINCE ((J Chuah) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 2 (MRA 0369) SPECIAL CLASS 5 (A) – 1200M
KNIGHT LOVE, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised near fore fetlock. will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
DIGGING EIGHT which was up 19kgs and KIPEH which was down 18kgs in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were both passed fit to start.
The Master of App Ms PH Seow did not permit her to ride GOLDEN DASH. Acting under MRA Rule 105(3), the Stewards permitted Jockey R Shafiq to replace her on GOLDEN DASH as there was no other suitable rider available.
DIGGING EIGHT (AL Da Silva) jumped awkwardly.
GOLDEN SHOW (HS Gill) and JB KAINGEH (F Yap) were slow into stride.
Passing the 300M-mark, NAUGHTY KID (App Clyde Leck) was held up for a run behind STRETCHY FOUR (L De Souza) which shifted out.
JB KAINGEH had to steady off the heels of GOLDEN DASH which shifted out over the concluding stage.
App Z Syafifie, the rider of KIPEH, reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of KIPEH revealed that KIPEH returned lame near fore and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
The Cub Veterinary Surgeon reported that GOLDEN DASH returned with a cut on the off hind cannon and will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of JB KAINGEH and SUPERMAX (M Ganeesh) revealed no obvious abnormality.

SAINT TROPEZ (App Clyde Leck) and LEGEND OF NIAGARA (B McDougall) were both slow into stride.
Post-race veterinary examinations of PACIFIC MASTER (App Ms PH Seow) and BLEU MARINE (F Yap) revealed no obvious abnormality. However, PACIFIC MASTER cast its near hide plate on returning

Emergency acceptor, ITALIAN REVOLUTION was withdrawn due to a capacity field.
RS DREAM and LEGEND OF THE SUN, both course scratching as they had sustained skin allergy and bruised off fore fetlock respectively, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
PLATINUM BOSS (KC Wong) showed no early pace despite being urged.
Post-race veterinary examinations of WAR STAR (App Ms PH Seow) and BIG MONKEY (S Saddam) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 6 (MRA 0373) PENANG TURF CLUB FAREWELL TROPHY-
[SPECIAL RAPID STAKES A] – 1300M
(RIDER ALLOWANCES NOT PERMITTED)
CIRCUIT MISSION and CHEVAL BLANC were both course scratching as they encountered float problem to Penang.
FAITHFUL LEADER, a course scratching as it was swollen both fore legs (float injury), will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
ANTIPODEAN and SHIRVO which were down 24kgs and 15kgs respectively in body weight since their last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were both passed fit to start.
PACIFIC VAMPIRE (App Ms PH Seow) dipped on jumping.
ANTIPODEAN (KC Wong), MEGA GEMS (S Hafis) and SHIRVO (S Saddam) were all slow into stride.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that SHANG CHI (WW Cheah) bled and will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of GAMESTONKS (App Clyde Leck) and ANTIPODEAN revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 7 (MRA 0374) SPECIAL RAPID STAKES A – 1300M
(ONLY APPRENTICES ALLOWANCES PERMITTED)
SHIRVO, STREETS OF FIRE and PACIFIC PADRINO were course scratching as they had run in Race 6 (Alternate Race).
The whip of App Z Syafifie (TRIGGER PEGASUS) broke during the running of the race.
A post-race veterinary examination of XENA (App P Haris) revealed no obvious abnormality.
App Z Syafifie, the rider of TRIGGER PEGASUS, was dislodged on pulling up and was exempted from weighing in. The Club Medical Officer reported that he sustained a back injury and was stood down on medical grounds.
