At the conclusion of an inquiry, App PH Seow, the rider of PACIFIC BRAVO, in the presence of her Employing Trainer, J Ong, was found guilty of a charge under MRA Rule 121(2) in that she weighed back in underweight more than ½ kg from the weight she weighed out at.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration App PH Seow’s mitigating factors, previous riding record and her submissions on penalty. She was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days with effect from 8 December 2025 and to expire on 21 December 2025, both dates inclusive. She was advised of her Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, App S Bahauddin, the rider of PACIFIC BAOBAO, in the presence of his Employing Trainer, Trainer J Leck, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding PACIFIC BAOBAO, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to GRAND DUCHESS at the 1000M.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration App S Bahauddin’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days with effect from 8 December 2025 and to expire on 21 December 2025, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

RACE 4 (R0842) CLASS 3 – 1200M (SC A)

1	HYPEMAN (B McDougall)	Had to be eased off heels on numerous occasions in the straight and was unable to fully secure clear running. Vet inspection: No significant finding.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey Z Khairil, the rider of HASTEN, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding HASTEN, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to SHANG CHI at the 800M.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey Z Khairil’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days with effect from 8 December 2025 and to expire on 21 December 2025, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

App H Haikal was questioned regarding his tactics adopted on I’M BACK. In this regard, he explained that after crossing to a forward position outside the leader, his mount became extremely keen despite his restrain. He further explained that this horse showed a tendency to hang in which further compounded his ability to assist his mount in the running. The Panel noted his explanation.

At an inquiry, Jockey Z Khairil pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that:

Whilst riding IRONSTORM in Race 2 on Sunday, 30 November 2025, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to OLIVER KHAN, LIMITLESS THUNDER, THE WILD HERO and WAR DRAGON at approximately the 800M; and
Whilst riding HALEEDA in Race 8 on Sunday, 30 November 2025, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to PLATINUM HARVEST at the 1300M.

The Panel of Stewards has considered these offences as a whole. In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey Z Khairil’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) Malaysian race day, to be deferred, with effect from 8 December 2025 and to expire on 14 December 2025, both dates inclusive. In lieu of one (1) Malaysian race day, he was also fined RM5,000/-. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

The report dated 4 December 2025 (V25/176) from the Chief Analyst of Veterinary Forensic Laboratory stated that 67 coded urine and 67 sets of coded blood samples from the above mentioned race meeting were received on 23 November 2025, for analysis under the MRA Rules and Regulations. No prohibited substances were detected.
