Promising four year old KOONDAKAARA appears primed for a winning return in the 1200m Selangor Nature Discovery Stakes at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

Arriving as a maiden from Australia with three placings from five starts to its credit, KOONDAKAARA created an immediate impact when leading throughout over 1020m defeating subsequent winner EASTERN BARRACKS. The Gingerbread Man gelding received every chance when stepping up to Open Novice company finishing runner up to another promising type in Tycoon Boss, beaten a neck.

KOONDAKAARA will be ridden by premiership winning jockey Andre Da Silva for the first time and from barrier three, he should prove hard to beat.
