In assessing the penalty, the Panel of Stewards took into account Jockey A Suriya’s guilty plea, riding record and mitigating factors.    Jockey A Suriya was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) months, effective from 26th May 2025 and to expire on 25th July 2025, both dates inclusive.  In addition, he was fined the sum of RM20.000/- and was advised of his right of appeal (4.15pm).

Trainer PH Khor, the trainer of LAXON was warned that he should report to the Stewards any matter that may affect the performance of his runners in future.

RACE 10 (R0157)      ENRICH STAKES A – 1200m (sc)  Meru Double Eagle Stakes

As there was no suitable rider available, the Panel of Stewards permitted App Z Syafifie to replace Jockey Y Aify, as the rider of STORM EIGHTY-THREE.

LEONG MA BISCUIT (KC Wong) and VINCENT’S STAR (R Rueven) bumped on jumping.

Shortly after the start, MILITARY FLAG (CK Khaw) had to steady momentarily when LEONG MA BISCUIT laid in.

A post-race veterinary examination of BOSS PHAN (HS Gill) revealed no obvious abnormality.
