RUBY ROCKET (CK Tan) which lugged outwards sharply at the start, was slow to begin and lost some ground, will be required to pass one (1) starting stall test before being declared to race again. At the start, after the barrier opened, KING GEE (F Yap) refused to jump and took no part in the race. KING GEE will be required to pass one (1) starting stall test before being declared to race again. THUNDER NIGHTFURY (M Hanif) fly-jumped at the start. FORTUNE BABY (App J Ikram) hung outwards badly entering the homestraight and in doing so, carried THE WONDERBOLT (App S Shazmin), RUBY ROCKET and HERITAGE SIXTY-ONE (S Zulfikri) wide into the straight. A post-race veterinary examination of KING GEE, which was Impounded for further analytical examinations, revealed no obvious abnormality.

GREAT COMMAND which was up 30kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start. As there was no suitable Apprentice available, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey M Ganeesh to replace App AR Aiman, as the rider of STRETCHY FOUR when the latter was certified unwell. Shortly after the start, ZILFIKAR (App S Shazmin) which was pulling and had a tendency to lay outwards, steadied and lost some ground, when tightened on the inside of CAVALLA COURT (M Akmazani), which received some pressure from SKY EIGHT (KC Wong), which was pulling and difficult to settle. GREAT COMMAND (App J Ikram) also raced tight in this incident. App S Shazmin, the rider of ZILFIKAR was shown the video and questioned regarding his ride approaching the first turn, where he lost some ground. He advised the Stewards that ZILFIKAR had a tendency to lay outwards. He was warned to ride all his mounts in a manner so as to leave no room for query in future. A post-race veterinary examination of STRETCHY FOUR (M Ganeesh) revealed that the gelding had returned with Epiglotic entrapment and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

As there was no suitable Apprentice available, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey M Akmazani to replace App AR Aiman, as the rider of PEAKY BLINDER when the latter was certified unwell. CALIFORNIA WARRIOR (KC Wong) proved very difficult to be boxed, causing some delay, was withdrawn by order of the Panel of Stewards at 1.55pm. The gelding will be required to pass one (1) starting stall test before being declared to race again. At the start, SIMON (S Hafis) jumped awkwardly outwards and brushed the outside gate. PEAKY BLINDER (M Akmazani) jumped awkwardly outwards at the start and in doing so, carried ATLANTE LEGEND (App M Hariz) onto LEGEND OF NIAGARA (M Ganeesh), which was tightened and clipped the heels, losing some ground. Shortly after the start, MAYMAY SUGAR was checked when tightened on the inside of SUPER FAST (CK Tan), which shifted inwards. At a subsequent Inquiry, Jockey CK Tan, the rider of SUPER FAST, was charged under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) for careless riding in that he allowed his mount to shift inwards, causing interference to MAYMAY SUGAR which had to check. Jockey CK Tan pleaded guilty to the Charge and was found guilty as charged. In assessing the penalty, the Panel of Stewards took into consideration Jockey CK Tan’s guilty plea and mitigating factors. He was Suspended from riding in races for one (1) PRTC race meeting, i.e on 14th March 2026 and was advised of his Right of Appeal (3.10pm) Approaching the first turn at about the 800M-mark, BEAUTY CHOICE (App J Ikram) and ATLANTE LEGEND brushed when racing tight. SUPER FAST shifted inwards under pressure in the homestraight. BEAUTY CHOICE drifted outwards under pressure over the concluding stages. Trainer HS Lim was questioned regarding the apparent improved performance of BEAUTY CHOICE today. He advised the Stewards that this horse had returned to form after a bad outing previously. He was reminded of his obligations under MRA Rule 117(3) regarding ‘in-and-out’ running and advised that should BEAUTY CHOICE prove to be inconsistent in future, it may be suspended. A post-race veterinary examination of MAYMAY SUGAR revealed no obvious abnormality.

STORMRUNNER (M Hanif) was trapped wide on the first turn on the outside of ROCKET ONE (KC Tham). Rounding the turn, BLAZE TITAN (HS Gill) shied inwards away from DASHING SPEED (App S Shazmin). Post-race veterinary examinations of HEAVENLY WARRIOR (M Akmazani) and ROCKET ONE revealed no obvious abnormality.

Prior to the running of the race, Trainer WC Lim and Jockey SU Lim were questioned about their intentions with regards to the running of DAYLIGHT today. Trainer WC Lim advised the Stewards that he was intending to have this horse to sit handy to mid-field. This was noted. MALAKAI (M Ganeesh) was examined behind the barriers by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and was passed fit to start. WECANDO (M Akmazani) and MALAKAI were both slow into stride after the start and showed no early pace. Post-race veterinary examinations of OTOTO (KC Wong) which finished last, revealed that the gelding had returned lame near fore, whilst MALAKAI returned lame off fore and WECANDO revealed no obvious abnormality. As such, MALAKAI and OTOTO will each be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

TALKINGTALKINGGURU, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised off fore cannon, will be required to pass a Veterinary examination before being declared to race again. BURGUNDY BUBBLES (F Yap) and BOSS NINE NINE (KC Wong) were both slow into stride after the start. BOSS NINE NINE showed no early pace. SNOW STORM (App J Ikram), SWEET LOVE (S Hafis), RAGNAR (M Hanif) and FOUNTAIN OF FAME (A Suriya) were all pulling and were difficult to settle in the backstraight. SNOW STORM had a tendency to lay outwards and raced wide on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination of KANTHAKA (S Zulfikri) revealed no obvious abnormality.

Jockey HS Gill was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) in that he failed to submit the form for riding overweight on CHEVAL ARTIST within the stipulated time. GOLD PLAN (R Rueven) was slow into stride. At the start, VILLAGE TYCOON (KC Wong) and MAINSTREAM (App J Ikram) bumped. A MIGHTY HEART (A Suriya) raced wide on the first turn. VILLAGE TYCOON ran about under pressure in the homestraight.

Acting on veterinary advice that KOTA RANGER (SN Shiva) was lame off fore, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 4.20pm. The gelding will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again. A post-race veterinary examination of FIGHT TO WIN (HS Gill) revealed no obvious abnormality. Jockey M Ganeesh, the rider of COLONEL CHIEF was stood down by the Course Medical Officer after this race. An Inquiry into the running and handling of COLONEL CHIEF will be held on a date to be fixed.

NIMBUS FLARE and ROOK’S GAMBIT which were both down 17kgs in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start. SCREEN SHOT (App J Ikram) reared just prior to the gates opening and was slow into stride. SHIWAJI (App S Shazmin) stumbled at the start. App J Ikram, the rider of SCREEN SHOT was warned for using his whip forward of the shoulder, in a drawn position, in the closing stages. Post-race veterinary examinations of SUSPICIOUS MIND (F Yap) revealed no obvious abnormality and SOMAR (M Hanif) revealed that the gelding was broken-winded. As such, SOMAR will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again. An Inquiry into the running and handling of SUSPICIOUS MIND will be held on a date to be fixed

As there was no suitable Jockey available, the Panel of Stewards permitted App J Ikram to replace Jockey M Ganeesh, as the rider of ZYGARDE. MAGNITUDE (A Suriya) jumped awkwardly at the start. At the start, LIMITLESS THUNDER (App S Shazmin) was squeezed between RETALLICA (S Hafis) and ZYGARDE (App J Ikram) which jumped awkwardly inwards. SACRED SKY (M Akmazani) jumped awkwardly, was slow into stride and stumbled at about the 1100M. RETALLICA was pulling and difficult to settle in the backstraight. SILVER JOY (CK Tan) was caught wide on the turn. Post-race veterinary examinations of RETALLICA and SILVER JOY revealed no obvious abnormality. The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that JEWEL SIXTY-ONE (S Zulfikri) returned having cast its near fore plate.
